Aengus, a central figure in Celtic mythology, served as both the God of Love and chief bard among the Tuatha Dé Dannan, a mythical and divine presence in Irish folklore. His name carries the meaning of "True Vigour."  As the chief bard, Aengus was a master of storytelling and music, embodying the emotional and creative essence of Celtic mythology.  Being notably associated with love and passion, Aengus features prominently in a book written by Aran Island native and storyteller, Liam O’Flaherty. "The Ecstasy of Aengus," is a captivating narrative where he encounters and falls in love with Fand.

Each print is sent unframed on A4 paper and packaged in a biodegradable sleeve derived from corn starch which can go in your brown composting bin.
